CT Link Systems Partners with VeloCloud for SD-WAN

It is a common consensus that the Philippines has one of the lowest average internet connection speeds in the world. According to Akamai’s Q3-2016 State of the Internet report, the Philippines ranks 103 globally with an internet connection speed averaging only 4.2 mbps.  Majority of internet connections in the Philippines are below this average.  Only 29% of the connections are above 4 mbps; a low 5.4% of connections are above 10 mbps; a dismal 2.4% of the connections are above 15 mbps.  Moreover, not only does the Philippines have a low average internet connection speed, it also ranks one of the highest in terms of internet service costs compared to other countries.

The Philippines’ internet infrastructure is preventing many enterprises from adopting cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365 or Azure. We also hear from customers about their challenges in availing reliable and cost-effective wide-area-network infrastructure services to interconnect their nationwide branch network.

To help customers establish a more reliable WAN infrastructure at a more reasonable cost, CT Link is partnering with VeloCloud to offer SD-WAN services in the Philippines.

VeloCloud, a Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN pioneer, simplifies branch WAN networking by automating deployment and improving performance over private, broadband Internet and LTE links for today’s increasingly distributed enterprises, as well as service providers.

About VeloCloud

VeloCloud is a cloud-delivered software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solution designed to simplify and optimize enterprise network connectivity. The company was founded in 2012 and acquired by VMware in 2017.

Traditionally, enterprise networks have been built on expensive, proprietary hardware devices that are complex to deploy and manage. VeloCloud’s SD-WAN solution offers a new approach, using cloud-based software to virtualize and simplify the network infrastructure. This makes it easier for companies to connect their branch offices, data centers, and cloud resources together in a secure and reliable way.

VeloCloud’s solution uses a combination of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) technologies to create a highly scalable and flexible network architecture. The SD-WAN solution intelligently routes traffic across multiple network links, including broadband, LTE, and MPLS, to optimize performance and minimize costs. It also includes advanced security features such as encryption and firewalls to protect against cyber threats.

One of the key benefits of VeloCloud’s SD-WAN solution is its simplicity. The solution can be deployed and managed from a single cloud-based console, making it easy to configure and monitor the network. This reduces the need for specialized networking expertise and makes it possible for organizations to quickly adapt to changing business requirements.

Another advantage of VeloCloud’s solution is its ability to integrate with existing networking infrastructure. The solution supports a wide range of networking protocols and can be used with legacy devices, enabling organizations to leverage their existing investments while modernizing their network architecture.

Finding the Next Generation Endpoint Protection

Finding the Next Generation Endpoint Protection

Trend Micro has recently launched the XGen™ Endpoint Security that incorporates the predictive machine learning in its endpoint security solutions effectively enhancing your protection against ransomware attacks, blocking processes associated with unauthorized encryptions, and preventing compromised executable files from infecting your network.  Packaged with Vulnerability Protection (host- based IPS).  Application Control (for whitelisting known applications), and Endpoint Encryption (for files, folders, or hard drives) – all reporting to a centralized management system.  Trend Micro’s endpoint security solutions can help keep your security posture against cybercriminals.

Ransomware is a malicious software that has been designed to block access to a computer system or files until a sum of money has been paid. For some time, cybercriminals were only targeting individuals, and has now moved on to targeting big organizations as well, racking up to millions of dollars in ransom money. To protect yourself from these kinds of cybercrime, an advanced security solution (not an anti-malware) is needed – from anti-exploits down to suspicious connections and executions protection.

We would like to invite you to learn and experience firsthand what CT Link Systems Inc. and Trend Micro can help you with this coming year.  We hope to see you in our event so you can try and see for yourself the new updates of XGen™ Endpoint Security that can help your business stay secure this 2017!

About Citrix

Citrix is a global technology company that provides solutions to enable secure and efficient remote access to applications and data, as well as collaboration and networking solutions to organizations of all sizes. With its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Citrix has a strong presence in over 100 countries around the world and serves customers in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, government, and education.

Citrix was founded in 1989 by Ed Iacobucci, a former IBM executive, with the goal of making it easier for people to access computing resources from remote locations. The company’s first product, Citrix Multiuser, allowed multiple users to access a single application simultaneously, which was a breakthrough at the time. Today, Citrix offers a wide range of products and services that help businesses optimize their IT infrastructure and provide a seamless and secure user experience.

One of Citrix’s core offerings is the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops platform, which provides virtualized access to Windows, web, and SaaS applications from any device or location. This platform enables IT administrators to centrally manage and secure applications and data, while providing employees with the flexibility to work from anywhere on any device. The platform also includes Citrix Workspace, which is a unified experience that allows users to access all their apps and files from a single location.

In addition to its virtualization products, Citrix also offers collaboration and communication solutions, such as Citrix ShareFile, which is a secure file sharing and storage platform that allows teams to collaborate on documents and files in a secure and compliant manner. Citrix also provides networking solutions, such as Citrix ADC (Application Delivery Controller), which optimizes application performance and security in complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
